Martha (Mar) Westrup, 91, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on June 4, 2016 in Simi Valley, Ca.

Funeral service will be held at Saint Peter Claver Church, 2380 Stow Street, Simi Valley, CA 93063 on Monday June 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM. with Reverend Riz Carranza of Saint Peter officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery located at 1380 Fitzgerald Road, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Martha was born in Los Angeles, CA to Miguel and Clotilde Fernandez on November 19, 1924. She attended Alexander Hamilton High School and graduated in 1942. She worked as a Homemaker and tennis coordinator at Oakridge Athletic club in Sim Valley, CA. She was always ready to travel to various places. She loved spending her days on the tennis court with all of her close friends. And when off the court, she wished to be surrounded by the company of her family, lady (her dog), and her two birds.

Martha is survived by her son Ben Westrup of Simi Valley, son Jon and wife Cindy Westrup of Simi Valley, daughter Annie and husband Keith Blank of Simi Valley and son-in-law Chuck Moore of Canyon Country. Grandchildren: Eric Moore, Jennifer Moore, Benjamin Westrup, Austin Westrup, Britton Westrup, Jocelyn Westrup, Ricky Westrup, Taylor Westrup, Christopher Westrup, Hannah Westrup, Nicole Hamilton, and Jessica Blank. Great Grandchildren: Ryleigh Westrup, Constanza Hamilton and Gerogiana Hamilton. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Westrup, her daughter Lisa Moore and daughter-in-law Debbie Westrup.
