Martin “Marty” Joseph Hach, ( 79 ) passed away On February 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Marty was born October 5th,1946 in Dodgeville, WI to Martin P. and Barbara M. Hach. He was one of 15 Brothers and sisters. Marty graduated from Cobb High School.

He married Beverly (Linzmeier) on October 19, 1968 at St. Kilian's Catholic Church. They were married for 23 years until her passing. Marty married Deborah (Lefcourt) on August 29, 1993 in Lake Tahoe, CA and were married for 33 years until his sad passing.

• He proudly served as an aircraft mechanic in the US Navy stationed on Bonne Homme Richard (CV-31) aircraft carrier.

• After deployment he returned to Hawthorne, CA earning an AA in aircraft maintenance and spent his career working at various locations for Northrop until retiring.

• When his sons were young, Marty enjoyed coaching baseball. He and his first wife Beverly went to flea markets searching for treasures to be turned into artwork by Beverly.

• Over the years he went on lots of gold mining adventures at Happy Camp and a few other rivers with his boys.

• After retiring, Marty and Deborah lived in Chetek, WI and then moved to Thousand Oaks, CA in May of 2019.

• Marty spent time tracking his various stocks. He loved fishing, watch the squirrels and bunnies run through his garden; managing his Micro-Sluice gold product business; always purchasing a lottery ticket, and watching football and basketball with very accurate predictions of the winning teams. He held the season high most picks in two seasons while not winning a single week!

Marty remained content even during his challenging battle with this newly emerging Vexas syndrome, a rare autoimmune disease. He enjoyed life no matter what the situation and treasured the daily big and little surprises. Marty was a great man who always lived his life with integrity, commitment, contentment and the ability to see the smallest joys in life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Marty is survived by his wife Deborah Hach, his sons Brian (Catherine) and Kevin (Esther), his grandchildren Misty Megugorac (Mitch), Jordan Hach, Danél Hach, and great grandson Skylar.
