We gather here today to remember and honor the life of Michael Angel Ayala—a son, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, and a blessing to all who knew him.
From the very first moment he came into this world, Michael had a special way of connecting with people. His mother, Alcira, will never forget the way he looked into her eyes as a newborn—so full of love, as if he had already known her forever. He was the heart and soul of his parents, Mike and Alcira—a true gift, full of light and warmth.
Michael had a big heart, and he shared it freely. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends—those moments meant everything to him. He cherished time with his cousins, finding joy in the simplest things, like laughter, games, or just being together.
Anyone who knew Michael knew how much he loved to eat—and he especially loved sandwiches. He used to say sandwiches were simple but always changeable—just like life. There was something about that idea that really matched his spirit: Michael was easy to be around, but full of flavor and surprise.
He loved deeply. He lived with kindness. And he brought joy to the lives he touched. Whether it was a quiet moment shared or a joke among friends, he left an imprint on the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Michael may have left us too soon, but the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on in each of us. We carry him forward in our stories, in our hearts, and in the way we continue to love one another.
Michael Angel Ayala—you will always be remembered. You will always be missed. And you will always be loved.
