Oscar Amilkar Rios

Oscar (Coca) Amilkar Rios Morales, 68, of Van Nuys, CA, passed away on May 17, 2026 in Veterans Memorial Community Regional Park.

Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home & Cremation on June 13, 2026 at 12 PM with Marlon Rios officiating.

Oscar was born in Guatemala to Diego Rios and Maria Morales on November 18, 1957. He worked as a welder for Secura Coin Locker Manufacturing for 37 years. He enjoyed helping others, fixing cars, riding his motorcycle, hiking, and being outdoors with his family. Oscar is survived by his life partner Maria Mondragon, his children Emerson, Jeorjanny, Vithia, Michelle, and Sheiley Rios, as well as many siblings, grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

Memorial donations may be made to his immediate family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Rose Family Funeral Home & Cremation. Oscar was loved immensely. May his spirit live on through those close to him.
