Patricia Jean Mankin

Patricia Jean Mankin (“Patti”), 84, of Westlake Village, CA, passed away on October 29th in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Patti was born as Patsy Jean Erby in Clayton, Missouri to Alonzo and Birtie Erby on October 4th, 1932

Patti’s Life and Legacy ~

Patti made her life about her daughter, Cheri. They were so very close. She was a fantastic painter, she loved going to the movies and she loved television! Her heart melted over dogs of all kinds, she loved to dog sit for many friends. She was always so fashionable and trendy! She was an avid book reader, and loved the monthly book club. She gained a reputation for being quite a good book critic. She was notorious for her joke-telling and recall, and was quite the random prankster. She was loved collecting antiques and decorating and organizing.

Patti is survived by her daughter, Cheri Stevens of Westlake Village, CA and her fraternal twin brother Eugene Erby and sister Juantia Volmer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alonzo and Birtie Erby, her sisters Marie and Dorris Erby, and brothers William, James, and Charles Erby.

A Memorial Service will be held for Patti Mankin at Conejo Creek North Park, Willow Bend Site, 1379 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks CA 91361 on December 11th 2016 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
