Paula Ann Cifranic

Paula Ann (nee Skrovan) Cifranic was born January 30, 1954 in Lakewood, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the daughter of Anthony E. Skrovan and Helen P. (nee Swinko) Skrovan. She died April 21, 2025 at a Simi Valley Hospital after a brief illness.

Paula graduated from Lakewood High School, Ohio, in 1972. In the fall of that same year, she moved to California to marry her childhood sweetheart, Michael E. Cifranic on January 26, 1973. They shared just over 36 beautiful years together until his death in 2008.

Paula earned an associate’s degree in business management science from Moorpark College in 2010 and was a customer service representative for Pentair Water Group for more than 39 years. She enjoyed playing tennis for many years, crocheting baby blankets and booties for all the babies of the family and friends, watching Hallmark movies, crossword puzzles, and playing scrabble.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Patricia M. “Patti” Johnson, her sisters-in-law, Barb Skrovan, Linda Skrovan and Karen (Cifranic) Friedlinghaus and her dearest nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many cousins, and devoted friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Michael, by her parents, her two brothers James and Bill, and her brother-in-law James D. Johnson (Sr.).

As per her wishes, no services are scheduled. Paula’s and Michael’s remains will be interred together at a later date in Ohio.
