Ponciano Sameon Arriola

Ponciano Sameon Arriola, 87 years old, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on February 4th, 2023 in his residence, surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on February 18 th , 2023 at 11AM with Deacon Melecio Zamora of St Peter Claver Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Simi Valley CA. Visitation will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on February 17 th , 2023 from 5-9PM. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Ponciano was born in Tayasan, Philippines to Cenon & Maura Arriola on November 19, 1935. He went to high school in the Dumaguete, Philippines and graduated in 1953. He went on to earn a degree in Accounting from university in Pampanga. He joined the Philippine Air Force and retired as Captain. He worked as a Mail Processing Clerk for the US Postal Service for 26 years. He enjoyed tennis, bowling, billiards, basketball and watching TV game shows. Ponciano is survived by his wife Evelyn Arriola of Simi Valley, his son Peter Arriola of Simi Valley, his son Phillip Arriola of Simi Valley, and his son Patrick Arriola of Simi Valley For any flower donations, please send to Rose Family Funeral Home and be delivered on Friday, February 17 th , 2023.
