Portia Duncan Harrington

Portia Ruth Duncan Harrington, 66, of Thousand Oaks, California, passed away on October 14th 2016 in Thousand Oaks, California.

Funeral service will be held at Simi Second Missionary Baptist Church on October 22, 2016 at 12:00pm with Reverend Dr. Willie M. Gray of Simi Second Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Portia was born in Monticello, Kentucky to Lawrence General Benjamin Duncan and Audrey Mae Cowan Duncan on December 23rd, 1949. She worked as a customer service representative for American Express for 20, and Anthem Blue Cross CA for 15 years.

Portia is survived by her husband, James Edward Harrington, her son, Trevor Maxwell Harrington, her sisters, Charlotte Ingram, Patricia Ragwar, Rebecca Duncan, Sylvia Thornton, Marie Harvey, and Phyllis Alston, her brothers, Larry Duncan, David Duncan, and John Duncan and many nieces, nephews, and other family. She is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Duncan, her mother, Audrey Mae Cowan Duncan, and her father, Lawrence General Benjamin Duncan.
