Rebecca Perez

Rebecca Andongo Perez, 78, of Van Nuys, CA, passed away on July 19th , 2019 in Van Nuys. Funeral services will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on August 7th 2019. Visitation will be held at 4444 Cochran Street on August 7th from 1-5pm. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Rebecca was born in Manila, Philippines to Paulina Degamo Andongo and Crescencio Andaya Andongo on March 7, 1941. While growing up in the Philippines, she participated in many beauty pageants. She owned her own Beauty Salon in San Francisco, CA and worked as a hair dresser for 10 years. She later went to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, which lead to a wonderful career of 30 years until she retired. She enjoyed going to the casinos with her siblings, playing bingo and walking. Rebecca is survived by her son, Luis Perez of Valencia, CA, her daughter, Victorian Carr of Long Beach, CA, her daughter Marilou Mariano of the Philippines, and her eight sisters and two bothers. As well as, her two grandsons Brandon Perez and Anthony Tillman, Jr. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for all the prayers and condolences during this difficult time.
