Pa. Daddy. Ric. Ricky. Kiki. Whichever name you came to love him, you quickly came to know that Ricardo Salgado was no ordinary man. A man of honor. A man of faith, humility, patience, respect and compassion. A man full of life. Those characteristics that most work hard to achieve, was nature to his being. He was born good, and he remained that way perfectly untainted by the worlds sorrows. His intent was to spread goodness. He strived not only to carry light into darkness, but to be the light. And he achieved it. He taught us how to love and how to be loved. And though our hearts are aching and the tears have no end, we know that to be feeling this pain means we have been privileged to know of an extraordinary love.

We love you. We miss you. We honor your life in the way we live ours until our glorious day comes, and our spirits are once more united.
