Richard E. Beausang

Richard Eugene Beausang, 86, of Simi Valley, California, passed away on May 26, 2015.

Funeral service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on June 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Simi Valley, California. Reception to be held at Rose Family Funeral home following burial. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Richard was born in San Pedro, California to Eugene and Luella Beausang on June 1, 1928. He graduated from San Pedro High School 1946 and went on to serve in the United States Army. He later earned a certificate in Engineering and worked as an operating engineer.

Richard is survived by his sons Christopher and Steven Beausang, daughters in law Cathleen and Christina Beausang, grandchildren Jenna and Luke Beausang, sister Sandra Chamberlain, brother in law Charles Chamberlain, sister in law Darlene Gunkel, nephews, Charles Chamberlain, Darryl Chamberlain, Frederick Carlson and Kevin Merrill, and nieces Cheryl Beerling, Linda Brummet, Jodene Sloan, Jennifer Daws, and Anna McWilly. He is preceded in death by his spouse, Joan Elizabeth Beausang and brother Frederick Carlson.
