Richard Edmond DeJarnette

Richard Edmond DeJarnette, at the age of 60, of Simi Valley, CA, passed away on November 16th, 2025 in Simi Valley, CA.

Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home and Cremation in Simi Valley, CA on December 5th, 2025 at 11:00AM.

Richard was born in Memphis, TN to Jeannie (Kerley) and Dennis DeJarnette on May 28th, 1965. He went to high school in Ridgecrest, CA and graduated in 1983. Richard was a proud combat veteran of the U.S. Army and deployed to Operation Desert Storm with the 101st Airborne Division.

Richard is survived by his mother Jeannie Perrault (Kerley), his wife Terrilynn DeJarnette (Ford), his son Douglas DeJarnette (wife Lisa) and daughter Cynthia DeJarnette, brother Clifford DeJarnette (wife Brenda) their children Nathaniel and Nicholas, brother Donald DeJarnette, and a loving extended family. He is preceded in death by his father Dennis DeJarnette, and his son Robert DeJarnette.

Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Veterans of Foreign Wars in lieu of flowers in Richard’s name.
