Richard Flittner

Rich Flittner passed away with his family by his side on September 9, 2013.Rich was born in Santa Monica, CA on July 6, 1951. He had resided in the Conejo Valley for 57 years graduating from Newbury Park High School in 1969. He was a general contractor and owned Flittner Screen and Glass.

Rich was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene; his father, Dick; father in law, Calvin Berling; and brother in law, Greg Atherton. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, son, Wayne; daughter, Jenelle Hogue (Jason) and six granddaughters, Gracie and Jessie Flittner and Tayler, Rylee, Ryenn and Ryder Hogue. Rich is also survived by his sister, Heather (Ted); mother in law, Nancy; sisters in law, Linda, Joyce and Maralee (Danny); brother in law, Mike (Sue) and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at noon on October 5, 2013 at First Christian Church Family Life Center at 801 Knollwood Drive, Newbury Park. Dress is casual. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity. Condolences may be left at simivalleymortuary.com.
