Robert Wayne Flynn

Robert Wayne Flynn, 59, of Moorpark CA, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 in Thousand Oaks CA.

Funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Church on Saturday April 9th at 11AM.

Robert was born in Thousand Oaks, CA to Robert Lewis Flynn and Will Annette Flynn on September 9, 1956. He went to high school at Moorpark High School. He went on to earn his pilot’s license in the mid 80’s and also went on to earn a certification in special inspections for welding, and was a union iron worker for decades. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, motorsports of all types, spending time with family and friends, creating and crafting items by hand, going to concerts, and listening to music.

Robert is survived by his three children, Ashlee, Aymee, and Brandon Flynn of Moorpark. He is preceded in death by his Father Robert Lewis Flynn, and Mother Will Annette Flynn.

Memorial donations may be made to Aymee Flynn, 9595 Oneida St. Ventura, CA 93004. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Rose Family Funeral Home, and Rick Flynn for his gracious contribution for Robert’s final destination.

Robert will be remembered in good spirits by his surviving friends and family with warm thoughts and cherished memories of laughter and enjoyment of the kindness of his heart.

He was a man that lived life to the fullest and truly lived each day like it was his last, he will forever be remembered riding on his motorcycle off in to the heavens with a smile on his face.
