Robert Louis Goerisch

Robert Louis Goerisch was born January 1, 1955, in Alamogordo, New Mexico and died February 10, 2016, in Thousand Oaks, California.

He is survived by his daughters, Dr. Denise Goerisch, Hayley Goerisch, the mother of his children, Marsha Goerisch, his mother, Doris Goerisch, brother, Michael Goerisch , sisters Judith Mauck, Ann Gonzales and Mary Brom.

Preceding him in death is his father, Otto Goerisch, brother Lawrence Goerisch and sister, Jana Goerisch.

Robert has been a resident of Simi Valley for 54 years, employed as service technician with the Gas Co. for 23 years; involved in local charities, especially the Knights of Columbus, the Moorpark High School Booster Club, and the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church food shelf.

Services are scheduled in Simi Valley for a vigil service on Thursday February 18 at 7 pm at Rose Mortuary, 4444 Cochran, Simi Valley, CA and funeral Mass on Friday, February 19 at 10 am, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, burial at Assumption Cemetery.
