Roberto Salgado aka “TOTO”, Salgado 75, of Valencia, CA , passed away on July 19, 2019 in Valencia, CA. Funeral service will be held at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, 22508 Copper Hill Drive , Saugus, CA 91350 on July 29th, 2019 at 11:00am, viewing will begin at 10:00am. Burial Services to follow, will begin at 1:00pm at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, 23287 North Sierra Highway, Newhall, CA 91321. Roberto S. Salgado was born in Guerrero, Iguala to Maria Salgado Salgado and Wildredo Salgado on June 1st, 1944. He went to Santa Monica High School and graduated in the class of 1963, with High honors, making it on the Dean List. He went on to work for GTE/Verizon for over 40years. Although he loved the corporate world. His passion was Real Estate. He owned many properties through his life and was so proud of his accomplishments. Pops was a compassionate man with his tenants. He was known for being friends with them, and treating them like family. He enjoyed traveling, bike riding, sitting in his patio enjoying the sun, his humming birds with a cold beer. Toto is survived by his Children, Sandra Monica Salgado-Derpic, Adrian Daniel Salgado, Angelica Fabiola Richards Grandchildren, Justin Daniel Derpic, Trevor Bailey Richards, Lukas Cole Richards, Ariana Kendal Richards and his Sister Bertha Vazquez, Brother In Law Rodolfo Vazquez, Niece Sonia Avila, nephew Albert Vazquez and great-nieces Alexis and Amanda.
