It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rodney Bruce Lenox, 72, into the open arms of Jesus on August 23, 2025. The family wish to thank the staff at St. John's Hospital, Camarillo, for their special care.
Rod was born in Santa Monica, California, to Alfred John Lenox and Leone Anna Wedel on September 2, 1952. He went to high school at El Camino Real in Woodland Hills, California, and graduated in 1970. He went on to complete some college courses at Pierce Community College in Woodland Hills. He has lived here in Simi Valley for the last 30 years. He worked as a Senior Printer Engineer and was widely known for his outgoing and friendly demeanor, and was well-loved by his community. He greatly enjoyed camping, fishing and a trip to Laughlin or Las Vegas, now and then, with family and friends.
Rod will be remembered with love by his wife: Diane Lenox; his children: Kristen Lenox, Kari Anstett, David Brown, Debbie Brown, Lonnie Brown, and Elizabeth Brown; his siblings: Alfred Lenox Jr. and his wife Nancy, Anna LeBeau, Brian Lenox and his wife Carol; his grandchildren: Justin Lasky, Emma Torres, Ethan Feeley, Elizabeth Martinez, Serena Brown, Jonah Brown, Brittney Brown, Alec Brown, Julia Brown, Alyssa Brown, Ethan Brown, Liam Brown, Lucas Brown, and Millie Bolton; his nieces and nephews: Kristina Hansen, Amy Lenox, Suzanne Webster, Jenni Duran and Jonathan Lenox; his great nieces and nephews: Trinity Hansen, Sawyer Hansen, Paxton Duran, Colby Duran, Wesley Lenox, Bennett Lenox and others. Rod will also be remembered by his very best friend, Eric (Rick) Stalboerger and his wife Joan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred John Lenox and Leone Anna Wedel and his son, Daniel Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the clubhouse across from Rod's home on September 27, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
