Malibu, CA Abel, Ronald Ronald Abel went into the hands of God Thursday evening August 18, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born May 5, 1934 in Glendale, CA. He was 77 years old. He fought a valiant fight to conquer cancer. He was deeply loved by family and friends, sharing a wonderful sense of humor and that fabulous smile. He served honorably in the military and loved his country with all his heart. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary, his children Stephen, Sean, Mark, and Michael, daughters in law, Nancy and Katherine, his five grand children, Natalie, Zachary, Jacob, Caelan, and Christian, also his brother John and sister in law Carol. He was established in business at Abel Service Center Inc, in Woodland Hills, and Chatsworth CA over 35 years. He semi-retired and moved to his beautiful home in Malibu looking out over God's wonderful beauty. He also loved to spend time in Arrowhead, at his vacation get away home with family and friends. He will be missed forever, but never forgotten. A private funeral mass is planned at Our Lady of Malibu for his family, and a celebration of his life will be on October 22 at his home.
