Rosemary Mason Kacer

Rosemary Mason Kacer, age 97, of Thousand Oaks, CA. passed away on Thursday evening, April, 16, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Rosemary, was born on January 10, 1918 in Denver, Colorado to the late Charles Mason and Mildred Aicher Welch. She was a long time member of St. Charles Borromeo, North Hollywood where she volunteered to help clean the church and was a member of the “Golden Girls”, a group that organized the annual Christmas boutique and bake sales to raise money for St Charles. Rosemary always had a story or joke to tell.

She is survived by her son, William A Kacer and his wife Charlene; two step grandchildren, Monica Beyer and her husband Richard of Connecticut and Mark Goertemiller of Santa Monica, Ca. And two step great grandchildren Richard and William Beyer.

In addition to parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her sisters, Winona Aicher Welch Hagan, Virginia Irene Welch and Mary Welch.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 10800 Moorpark St, North Hollywood, CA. Private family service.

Interment will be at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
