Ross Lee Paullin

Ross Paullin, aka Papa was born on September 28,1946 in Glendale, CA the youngest son of Charles and Helen Paullin, who had moved from Springfield, IL to make a life for themselves in California. Ross attended CSUN where he received his teaching degree and began his teaching career in Simi Valley in 1968. Ross was an Elementary teacher for over 30 years.


On February 19, 2000, Ross married Cindy Lou and they enjoyed 24 years of marriage and many adventures together. They were members of Faith Christian Church and served together in the AWANA ministry for over 15 years. Ross enjoyed treasure hunting and had high hopes of finding something great. He was full of knowledge about a variety of subjects and was always sharing interesting facts and stories from history. If you caught his jokes, Ross had a unique sense of humor.


Ross passed away peacefully from this world on August 27, 2024 at the age of 77, and is survived by sister-in-law Evelyn, his stepchildren Rick and Karri Ann, son-in-law Jeff, and his granddaughter Paige. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Roy and wife, Cindy Lou.


Ross will be laid to rest with his beloved Cindy Lou surrounded by family and friends on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Memorial Park and Cemetery. Reception to follow at Rose Family Funeral Home.
