Ruth Regine Beyer

Ruth (Volk) Beyer, 95, of Woodland Hills, California, departed this life on January 2, 2016. Ruth was born to Karl and Anne (Sandmann) Volk in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 21, 1920.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Frank Beyer, who died in June, and by her sister, Bernice Beard and brother-in-law James Beard and sister-in-law Ruth (Beyer) Cortez. She is survived by her three children, Nancy Hildebrandt (and husband, John), Kurt Beyer (and wife, Nancy) and Thomas Beyer and grandchildren Andrea, Laura, Timothy (and wife, Cassie) and Scott.

Ruth will be laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth. Memorial donations may be sent to United Cerebral Palsy at 6430 Independence Avenue, Woodland Hills, California 91367.
