Salvatore Leonetti, age 88, of Agoura Hills, California, passed away at home on Monday, February 2.
Salvatore was born on May 12, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, to Michael and Josephine Leonetti. He attended Brooklyn College and went on to build a long and successful career in finance and accounting, working for several publishing companies over the years.
A lifelong New Yorker at heart, Salvatore was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, following his teams through triumphs and disappointments alike. He loved gambling and especially enjoyed trips to Las Vegas. Salvatore also cherished spending time connecting with others - he was known for long phone conversations with family and friends and also for enjoying a strong martini.
Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife, Toni Leonetti of Agoura Hills, California, originally of Staten Island, New York; his two daughters, Danielle Leonetti of Orlando, Florida, and her spouse Tamy Reimels, and Nicole Leonetti of Agoura Hills, California, and her spouse Andrew Weaver; and his brother, Michael Leonetti of Queens, New York and his spouse Patricia Leonetti.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rose Family Funeral Home. A brief service will take place at 11:00 a.m.
