Samuel Serrano

Samuel Serrano, 82, of Simi Valley, Ca, passed away, Friday, July 5th, 2019 at Simi Valley Hospital. A celebration of his life, viewing and rosary service will be held at 5 pm, Wednesday, July 10th, at Rose Family Funeral Home 4444 Cochran Street, Simi Valley ca 93063. We will be holding a special Mass for Samuel at Holy Cross Church 13955 Peach hill Road, Moorpark Ca on July 11th at 9:00 Am. Burial will be held on July 12 th at 10:30 AM at assumption ceremony in Simi Valley. Samuel was born on December 20th, 1936 in Pihuamo, Jalisco to Adolfo and Carmen Serrano. He immigrated to the United States to give his children an upper hand in life. Samuel lived in his Family home in Simi Valley, where he tended to his Garden and roses until his passing. Samuel was well known for his gift of nicknaming. Everyone was was excited to hear what he was going to nickname their kids. Samuel is survived by children Gina Sedano, Maria (Lila) Serrano and Maria (Trinidad) Serrano; Rigoberto Serrano, Jose (Meno) Serrano, Christian Serrano and Valdo Serrano; His Grandchildren Ramon Zuniga, Edwin Unzueta, Gina Sedano, Audrey Unzueta, Luciano Serrano, Karla Sedano, Christian Serrano, Robert Serrano, Vincent Serrano, Anthony Serrano, Albert Hernandez, Sidney Munoz, Angel Serrano, Maximilian Serrano and his Great Grandchildren Victoria Zuniga, Carlos Zuniga, Nolan Serrano, Christian M Serrano, Frankie Serrano and Isla Hultin; several Brothers and Sisters, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Angela Serrano in 1998 and his son, Jamie Serrano 2016.
