Sheila was born in Birmingham, England to Frederick and Doris Tabberner on August 16, 1938. When she was a young child, she came to the United States with her family. Doris remarried to Dr. Stephen Matheny who helped raise Sheila and her siblings, Raymond, Dorothy, and Stephen.

She worked a number of years as a manager for Harry Harris Shoes for Kids. Sheila was hardworking and dedicated. Despite her many responsibilities, she always made time for her family and friends.

She enjoyed bowling, reading, listening to music, spending time with her family, and watching sports games. Sheila loved animals and owned many dogs throughout her lifetime.

Sheila is preceded in death by her son, Allen M. Johnson. Sheila is survived by her daughter Teisha, her son-in-law Rick, and her grandson Chris, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

We find comfort in knowing that Sheila’s legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, the love she shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
