Sonia Cundy

We are sad to announce the passing away of Sonia Sadiarin Cundy on November 7, 2016 in Simi Valley, California. She was 80 years old. She was the daughter of Henry Sadiarin, a Filipino-American from Paoay, Ilocos Norte and American wife, Effie McDow, who died in 1973 and 2012, respectively. She is survived by her only sibling & brother Victor Michael; children Lisa, Leslee, David; daughter-in-law & sons-in law and family members. Her husband passed away years ago.

Sonia was a very loving cousin and family member, who maintained close relationship with the family attending important family affairs in San Diego, such as weddings, family funerals and visits, the latest of which, was the funeral of Orlino (Rolly) Sadiarin. She also contributed greatly in providing support to our family members in Tacloban, Leyte, when the powerful Typhoon Yolanda devastatingly swept northern Leyte in 2013, with the powerful winds, heavy rains, and high & strong Sonami in the area, resulting in the death of thousands of people and lost of billion pesos worth of properties. Sonia will be always remembered by the family and her friends for her kind-heartedness and friendliness.

Our sincerest condolence and sympathy to Victor, Lisa, Leslee, David and the bereaved Sadiarin family worldwide. We join you in prayers for the repose of her soul and may she rest in peace.

Her remains is at the Rose Family Mortuary, 4444 Cochran St. Simi Valley, CA 93063 and funeral services is on December 2, 2016.
