Sydell Michael

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Sydell Firestone Michael. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on March 6th, 1925 and passed away peacefully at her home with family and friends in Simi Valley, California at the age of 89 from cancer related illness on May 19th, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, grams, aunt, sister, and friend. She joins her parents, brother Hy Firestone, husband Marvin Michael, and son Alan Michael in heaven. She leaves behind her brother Ed and his Wife Es, daughter Leslie Michael Prisk, daughter in law Jennifer Michael, grandsons Jacob Michael and Brandon Prisk, granddaughter Kaitlyn Prisk, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She loved playing mahjong, fishing, going to the beach, painting birdhouses, raising animals, and spending time with family and friends. She is loved by many and will always be missed. A memorial Service will be held on June 1st, 2014 at 11am at Temple Ahavat Shalom. The address is 18200 Rinaldi Place, Northridge, CA 91326
