Terry Mix

Terrence "Terry" Francis Mix, 68, passed away on March 6, 2014 at his home in Simi Valley, where he has lived forty one years. He battled cancer for the last three years. He was born on July 9, 1945 in Buffalo, New York to George and Mary Mix. Terry served in the U.S. Army and fought in the Vietnam War from 1965-1967. After he returned, he worked for a Steel Mill in Chicago, Illinois. Terry moved to California in 1967. He then worked for Superior wheels, and after with Valley Western Distributors for twenty five years as a truck driver, which he loved. When the company closed, he went to work for Milgard Windows until 2010. He is survived by his two brothers: Gene and John Mix, four children: Ray Mix, Tracy Harbaugh, Rick Mix, and Joe Mix, and seven grandchildren: D.J., Victoria, Maddie, Graysie, Ellie, Nikki, and Joey. A mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 13th 2014 at 10:00am. St. Rose of Lima Church. 1305 Royal Ave. Simi Valley, CA 93065.
