Thomas Basile

Thomas “Tom” Basile, 64, of Simi Valley, California, passed away on October 28, 2020 in Simi Valley, California. Visitation will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on November 2, 2020 from 10am-2pm. Funeral service will begin at 11:30am with Deacon Melecio officiating and will conclude with a special service presented by the Honor Guard at 1:30pm. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Tom was born in Rockford, Illinois to Benjamin Philip Basile and Hazel Ellen Gerber on September 10, 1956. He went to high school at Canoga Park High and graduated in 1974. He worked as a Debt Collector with various companies for many of his adult years. He enjoyed singing, cooking, playing basketball, body surfing, watching sci-fi/horror movies, dressing up on Halloween to scare all the little kids and most of all spending time with his family. He served in the United States Air Force for two years in Communications while being stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Tom is survived by his wife, Joannie, his 6 children, Cindy, Gina, Deanna, Chris, Christina and Heather and his 14 grandchildren, Nicole, Austin, Anthony, Lana, Nathan, Keira, Tabby, Max, Liyah, Tyson, Gianna, Tori, Amayah and Juliet. He is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin and mother, Hazel. Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate.
