Thomas Dobson

T. Gary Dobson (Poppy), 74 passed away in Simi Valley, California on July 3, 2019. Gary was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada on June 6, 1945. He Graduated from Canoga Park High School in 1964 and went on to get degrees at both Pierce College and Moorpark College. Between his stence in college, he became a U.S. citizen in 1965 so he could join the United States Navy. Gary enlisted in the United States Navy where he served 2 years in active duty and 5 years in the reserves. After 11 months in Vietnam, Gary came home to marry DiAnn Lebben on August 24, 1968, and spent 50 years together. During those 50 years Gary made a big impact in the aerospace bearing industry. He is survived by his wife DiAnn, 3 sons Doug (Diane), Jason (Lynda), and Scott (Cari) as well as his cherished grandkids Kiana, Brianna, Chase, and Shane, sister Gail Mears and brother in law Dick Lebben along with many more family and friends. The family of T. Gary Dobson wished to thank, Dr. Ashim Arora, Adventist Health Simi Valley and Barlow Respiratory Hospital for there compassion and determination to help Gary through his illness. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
