Vanessa Diane Esterwold

Vanessa Diane Esterwold, 35, of Los Angeles CA, passed away on April 18, 2021 in San Clemente. Funeral service will be held at Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 22601 Lassen Street Chatsworth, CA 91311, Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1:00pm, with Chaplain Amy Altshuld officiating. A celebration of her life will be immediately following the service at the home of her parents. Vanessa Diane Esterwold was born on March 28,1986, in Valencia, CA to Mitch and Ellen Esterwold. In 2005, she graduated from Simi Valley High School, and went on to earn her cosmetology license from Vidal Sassoon. For the last 4 years, she worked as a hairstylist, and was having the time of her life making people feel beautiful. Vanessa enjoyed traveling, hiking, swimming in the ocean with the dolphins, and being with her beloved dog Charlie. She loved spending time with her sisters Janelle and Meagan, and especially her nephews River, Leo, and her new baby niece Meadow. She was a free spirit that was creative and expressed it though her painting and her unique style. Vanessa is survived by her Parents, Mitch and Ellen of Simi Valley. Her sister Janelle and husband James Purnell, nephew River and niece Meadow of San Diego. Her sister Meagan and husband Jossef Gil, and nephew Leo of Tarzana. She is also survived by an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
