Victor Murillo

Victor Antonio Murillo, 49 of Simi Valley, CA. September 30,1975 - June 23, 2025.

Victor Murillo was a devoted husband, a loving and dedicated father, a gifted artist, and a true pillar of his community. He passed away after a four-year battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of strength, creativity, and humor.

Victor is survived by his beloved wife, Amber, and their two daughters, Maya and Cami. He is also survived by his parents Victor Murillo and Maria of Santa Paula, CA. Brothers Eric Murillo and wife Carlie, Luis Murillo and wife Samantha both of Santa Paula, CA.

A talented artist, Victor earned his bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Art Center College of Design. He built a career as a video game artist, and in his personal time, he filled sketchbooks, loved painting and cycling.

In 2023, during a brief remission, Victor fulfilled a dream by completing the 50th Annual RAGBRAI bike ride across Iowa. After months of training, he rode over 500 miles in seven days—from Sioux City to Davenport.

Victor’s life was defined by his deep love for his family, his creative spirit, and his unwavering commitment to those around him. He inspired everyone who knew him with his humor, laughter, courage, and generosity.

Victor’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
