Walter Adolph Finner

Walter A. Finner (Walt) age 87 of Porter Ranch, California passed away on October 23rd, 2021 in Tarzana, California. Funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home, 4444 Cochran St., Simi Valley, Ca. on November 5 at 11:00 am, Pastor Tim Schoen of The Church at Rocky Peak officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Chatsworth. Visitation will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on Thursday, November 4, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Rose Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements. Walter was born in Detroit, Michigan to Stephanie and Walter R. Finner on January 19, 1934. He went to High School at Hamilton High School and graduated in 1952. He worked as a Painting Contractor for 50 years. He enjoyed camping, boating and especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He received many trophies for his restored classic cars. He was a joyful partner at The Church at Rocky Peak, where he was baptized as an adult. Walt is survived by his wife Shirley, son Ray and daughter -in-law Myriam, daughter, Kathy, son-in-law Walt, grandchildren, Tim, Silvana, Jon, Victoria, Kathryn, and Pete; great grandchildren, Samuel, Liliana, and Joseph.
