William Herbert Loe 2Nd

William Herbert Loe II, 84 passed away peacefully at home in Simi Valley on July 4, 2015. William is preceded in death by his Mother Deola Betts, Father Wm. H. Loe, his loving wife of 57 years, Arlene Jan Anderson Loe and youngest son Kelly Loe.

William “Bill” will forever be remembered by his children and their spouses; Diane & Robert Pollard, Janene West, William H. III & Shannon Loe, Jeffrey & Charlene Loe, and Joy & George Tarrab; his brothers and their spouses Gary & Cathy Loe and John & Sue Cline, sister Dyann Maruji and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives.

Bill was born Los Angeles and raised to age 11 in Burbank CA, he then lived for a few years with his Great Aunt Myrtle & Uncle Oren in Blackfoot ID. Bill served in the Navy from May 1948 to October 1953. He married Arlene in 1958, and adopted her two children Diane & Janene. Bill & Arlene had four more children together. Bill and Arlene raised their family in Tarzana CA, where they lived until 2014 when they moved to Simi Valley to be near their daughters.

Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed telling stories of his life. Bill and Arlene loved to take road trips; he knew the highways of North America well.

Bill retired from LA Department of Water and Power after working 25 years in underground power.
